No more dips!!
YAY! Just called to get a update this morning of Brielle and she is down to 51% oxygen!!!!! YAY!!! They want her around 40% so shes almost there!! Its better than 100% They dont want her to be above 40% for too long because it effects the eyes. So get down!!!! Jennifer said that her chest xray of her lungs this morning looked MUCH better, so thats also a great sign she is feeling better!!!! She was moving around yesterday quite a bit more which is showing she is feeling better too. She had a IV put in her right arm and it was taped and gauzed up, you couldnt see her little arm, but she still managed to push the nurse with that arm while getting her diaper changed. hehe fiesty! Hopefully she stays up and feeling good now and doesnt dip back down!!! Its been one long week!!!It wore all 3 of us out!!

Josh and Amber Whew GLAD that that last week is Over. What a little stinker Brielle is. That little girl is going to have sooo many nick names by time this is over :) Today sounded a little more encouraging, the first day of the week and things are looking a little brighter for your trooper. pray and hope the rest of the week follows suite. Take good care Love Debbie
ReplyDeleteWell I think she listened to her mommy for once in her short life!! She was down to 35% at 12 when I was there!!! YAY! So in 4 hours she went from 51%-35%. Good girl!!! Going back in alittle while. Dont want to wake Josh up but I'm getting antsy to go see her....Hard choices :P
ReplyDeleteGo Brielle! 35% is super fantastic! I'm glad you guys have something positive to celebrate to start the week off. Those little NICU babies have a way of keeping you on your toes don't they? And let me tell you they learn some skills in the NICU that stick with them too ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the happy news.
Lots of positive thoughts coming from Singapore.
Laura
