Got to hold Brielle today for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kanagroo care they call it. I was so nervous but so excited!!!!! I held her for almost 2 hours! She is so small and so precious!!! She fussed alittle bit but calmed down right away each time!! She maintained her heart rate and breathing while out. We werent really too sure how she would do out of her pod. She did awesome!!!! Josh gets to hold her tomorrow, he cant wait!! We fed her while I was holding her and she got the hiccups. She sounded like a little squeaky mouse lol We laughed so hard, even the nurses behind the curtain lol. I never thought we'd be able to hold her this early!! Shes only 8 days old!! She is doing so good that it made it possible to hold this early! Bri is the youngest baby up there still but no longer the smallest. A smaller but older baby was brought in last night. Our heart goes out to that family that their little one does just as good as Bri is.
Felt so good to feel every part of her and kiss her little hair filled head! Just to be that close to her!! To be able to rock her and soothe her when she whimpered. To hold her little hand close. I finally feel like A MOM!!!!
Tears of joy here!!! Can't stop looking at this picture...cannot get over how much smaller she really looks in this picture but so adorable! Looking forward to pics of Josh and Bri tomorrow! Love you guys!
